Ebrahim Patel

Ebrahim Patel is a South African businessperson with extensive experience in Finance, Trade and Technology with leadership and strategic positions both locally and internationally.

Ebrahim is the Managing Director at SiyaXoxa Technologies and a Non-Executive Director on numerous Company Boards. He was the former CEO of Magellan Management.

He was the Founder of the Minara Chamber of Commerce in South Africa, served as its National President and went on to serve as Chairman of the KwaZulu Natal Business Chambers Council.

He is a member of the KwaZulu Natal Provincial Government’s Economic Council and was instrumental in developing the KZN Economic Development Plan and the KZN Halal Initiative. He was responsible for the inception of bi-lateral Business Councils between South Africa and a number of countries.

Ebrahim is the International Advisor to the World Islamic Economic Forum and the Chairman of the Young Leaders Network. In 2021 he received the Men of Valour Award and in 2022 he received the Standard Bank KZN Top Business Recognition Award.

Ebrahim is the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia to KwaZulu Natal.
