Ridha Saidi is an expert in the management and development of economic institutions with an extensive experience in the field of project design and monitoring, carrying out economic studies and development programs.
WORK EXPERIENCE JANUARY 2020 – UNTIL THIS DATE: SENIOR PARTNER, PROCONSULT TUNISIA RESPONSABILITIES include : Supervising the design of private economic projects, preparing feasibility studies, and following up on implementation stages; Helping entrepreneurs to adjust the financing plan and search for partners; Preparing and publishing researches, studies and articles in the economic and development field, with periodic reports on the national economic situation and its development scenarios; Contribute to the development of the project portfolio for Proconsult through national and international participation in specialized seminars, exhibitions and sectoral missions
AMONG THE ACHIEVEMENTS DURING THIS PERIOD: - Joint supervision with the “StartupgateX” on the organization of training courses (project management, fiscal supervision, investment climate...) and holding international forums in the field of startups in the MENA region during 5 years; Supervising a strategic positioning study for a Tunisian bank in the West African financial markets (UEMOA) in partnership with KPMG; Supervising the completion of a strategic study on the prospects for the blue economy in Tunisia in terms of market potential and employment prospects for the benefit of the Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fishing (UTAP) within the framework of an international project to help marginalized groups and provide 1,700 jobs in the Mediterranean region and 200 jobs in Tunisia - November 2021
OCTOBER 2016 – NOVEMBER 2019: MINISTER ADVISER IN CHARGE OF PUBLIC PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS AND MONITORING OF MAJOR PROJECTS, HEAD OF TUNISIAN GOVERNMENT RESPONSABILITIES include: - Following up on state projects and public programs with the various ministries centrally and regionally, intervene to resolve problems, and submit detailed periodic reports to the Prime Minister; Following up of major investment projects included in the direct foreign investments portfolio; Following up on the negotiation files with the European Union on the ALECA deep and comprehensive partnership agreement in the fields of agriculture and services; Participation in the preparation of finance laws and the preparation of memoranda for the Prime Minister to assist him in managing the competent ministerial councils; Contribute to the preparation of government policy in the economic, financial and social fields and follow up on its implementation.
AMONG THE ACHIEVEMENTS DURING THIS PERIOD:- Supervising the creation of a national system to follow up on public projects "INJEZ". This digital platform was created under the supervision of the Presidency of the Government and the National Center for Informatics (CNI), where more than 7,000 public projects in various sectors and all states of the Republic are monitored; Presiding the steering committee of the integrated project for the production of phosphorous and sulfuric acid in the Gabes region, which includes 12 ministries and government structures. It is the largest public project with a total estimated cost of about $1,500 million and represents a pioneering project in the field of environmentally friendly chemical industries; Deputy Prime Minister in supervising the National Committee for Control of Prices; Follow-up of major real estate projects: Bukhatir Sports Cities Project (Emirati investment) - Hassyan Financial Harbor Project (Gulf Finance House investment in Bahrain); Supervising negotiations with the Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fishing and preparing joint agreements between the state, the Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fishing and the Union of Industry and Trade on agricultural systems in the sectors of grain, dairy, poultry, white meat, and fisheries

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES IN THINK TANKS AND NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SUMMITS include: - Advisory member of work teams and scientific committees in some study centers and think tanks, especially at the Carnegie Center for Strategic Studies in the Middle East in Beirut; Member of the Advisory Board of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia and North Africa “ESCWA” in Beirut; Publishing of a book in 2009 entitled “The Tunisian Economy, Reality and Prospects”, which includes a comprehensive reading of the economic and social conditions in Tunisia; Keynote speaker and panelist in many conferences and symposia at the international and regional levels, in particular the World Economic Forum; Presentation of an intervention on the priorities of economic policy in Tunisia following the revolution during the economic days of Aix en Provence (France): October 2012; Al Jazeera Center for Strategic Studies symposium (Doha) June 2012 on the political transition in the Arab world.
